5 steps for a great Fall morning routine

A great morning routine is the best way to ensure a great day! Here are my tips so you get to start your day odd the right way!

1. Stretch it out

When you are up and preferably before breakfast, head to The Studio + and find a soft yoga or stretch class. Moving softly in the morning is an amazing way to get rid of the aches and pain that might have accumulated the day before or during the night, and I can guarantee you will feel the difference all day long !

2. Have a warm, comforting drink

My go-to is an Oat milk late (with Oatly but we got that), but make sure you make the time for YOUR favorite hot drink. Sit down and take the time to enjoy it, one sip at a time. You’ll get that warm and fuzzy feeling, and that can serve as your gratefulness practice (“I am so thankful to have the time for this delicious drink right now”)

3. Make a morning playlist

Whether you are high-energy or soft tunes, make a playlist specially for the morning, so you get your rythm on for the day

4. Create (and follow) a skincare routine

You know how much I believe in routine, and this goes for skincare too. If we often have a nightime skincare routine, we sometimes skip it in the morning because we are in a rush. But it’s so important to take the time and start the day with glowing skin ! Here is mine:

– When I wake up early, I like to use my roller (it improves blood flow and reduces puffiness)

– I use the Chamomile Tonic from La Rosée, just before putting my cream on. The smell is so relaxing !

– My favorite cream is used by makeup artists all over NY before photoshoots: Embryolisse

My skin is now ready for anything that comes my way !

5. Walk to work

Even though the weather might not be ideal, it’s good to start the day with some fresh air. Of course, sometimes we live far from work, but in that case, try to get off the subway one station earlier, so you get to walk a good 15 min before starting your workday !
